Following discussions with a number of Councils and Private sector clients Albion Environmental Ltd have developed an introductory Course for Waste Managers and operational staff.

This two-day course is designed to provide a basic understanding of the legislation relating to the Waste industry and provide background Knowledge and Understanding for WAMITAB candidates.

The Course has been designed for those new to the Industry, anyone starting or completing WAMITAB COTC or experienced managers who require to be kept abreast of recent changes.

Civic Amenity/ Household Re-Cycling Centre Operators Course [ more information » ]

This course is designed to enable individuals from Local Authorities & industry to understand the issues arising from accepting, handling, storing and disposing of waste in a Civic Amenity Site or Household Re-cycling Centres and comply with all the relevant legislation.

CIWM Waste Awareness Course [ more information » ]

A 5 hr course developed by the Chartered Institution of Waste Management (CIWM) designed to make employees "aware of waste". Designed for all employees who produce waste or who have responsibilities for dealing with waste in companies, organisations, and authorities involved in a manufacturing, retail or service process. The aims of the course are to provide an introduction to waste management and to provide the knowledge, skills and understanding to improve the management of waste.

All courses are provided to the recognised industry standard.
